Browne, Chedmond
A former trade union leader, Chedmond Browne, has been a political and social activist for more than 40 years. He joined the New People’s Liberation Movement in 2001 and served as a Member of Parliament from 2001 to 2006. While in this role, he made an address at the United Nations Special Committee on Decolonisation Seminar held in Cuba in 2001 and he participated in the Caribbean regional seminar on the implementation of the second International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism held in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in 2005.
He is the Editor of the online publication, the Pan Afrikan Liberator that was started in 1990. He hosts a number of websites including www.cudjoeb.com, the website for the Free Montserrat United Movement and www.cudjoeb.infoFreeing the Afrikan Mind.
